The City of San Diego Debt Management Division of the Department of Finance develops financing plans, conducts planning, structuring, and issuance activities for all bonds, notes, and loans to finance the City's capital projects, essential equipment, and vehicles.
The Division currently has one Finance Coordinator vacancy and may also use this recruitment process for future Finance Coordinator vacancies. Core activities of a Finance Coordinator are expected to include: (i) assisting with the development of offering documents for short-term and long-term borrowings; (ii) preparing issue structures for the City’s public bond offerings; (iii) contributing to the development of rating agency presentation materials for both new-money rating requests and on-going rating reviews; and (iv) coordinating timely post-issuance compliance responsibilities.
