The Sr. Budget Analyst will assist in the preparation and coordination of the City’s annual budget and will participate in the preparation of the long-range forecast. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the maintenance of the City’s general ledger in connection with the proper recording of revenues and expenses, analysis and review of financial transactions in preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports, preparation of complex statistical forecasting models and data compilation. The Sr. Budget Analyst will participate in various department core functions such as annual budget, year-end audit and CAFR preparation as well as periodic assistance in review and/or updates of financial procedures for accuracy and completeness.
