We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about public service, collaboration, and data-driven continuous improvement to join Pinellas County’s Strategic Performance Management (SPM) team. The SPM team supports and enables a culture of transparency, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision making in support of County organizational leadership, the Strategic Plan, and all departments under the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) and other agencies funded by the BCC.
Strategic Performance Management Analysts consult on strategic planning, support performance management, and facilitate process improvement initiatives directly through project management and indirectly through training, coaching, and technical assistance, and play a key role in influencing change and making a positive impact for our community. Responsibilities include working with multi-functional teams and leadership to lead, facilitate, and contribute on process improvement, performance management, and strategic planning initiatives. Duties involve providing a hands-on approach to problems, planning, and people associated with all aspects of Strategic Performance Management, actively leading teams in problem solving efforts, and identifying and removing barriers that prevent attainment of project goals. Work is performed with considerable self-direction and collaboration under the direction of the Strategic Performance Manager within the Office of Management & Budget.
*While the salary range for this classification is listed to the left, the expected hiring range for this position ranges from the $67,017.60 to the mid-$70,000 range
