Would you enjoy full-time summer work in the outdoors that will help spruce up and maintain Naperville's water delivery infrastructure?
The City's Water & Wastewater Utility seeks two summer outdoor workers for manual labor assignments centered around fire hydrant painting. You will be required to drive daily on City business. Full Time, Monday - Friday (approx. 7AM – 3:30PM), May to August.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Water Supply Supervisor, your job duties will include hydrant scraping & painting (all City hydrants are painted on a 5-year cycle). You may also mow grass, perform sprinkler patrol, clean and organize Water & Wastewater Utility warehouse inventory, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
You should also bring energy and be self-motivated (once trained, you’ll be working mostly without supervision). This is an excellent opportunity to learn and work for a progressive organization.
