Grades: Plans Examiner I: B23 ($22.19-$31.06), Plans Examiner II: B24 ($24.64- $34.49), Plans Examiner III: B25 ($27.57- $38.60), depending on qualifications
The City of Springfield is looking for a Plans Examiner I, II, or III (level to be determined based upon experience) to perform residential or commercial reviews. The ideal candidate would be someone who can perform commercial reviews currently, or grow in professional capacity through on-the-job training and certification. If the selected incumbent does not have the qualifications to perform commercial reviews, the incumbent is required to obtain the certifications within 6 months of hire. The City will provide financial support and opportunity for this career growth.
