The Town of Lexington seeks applications from qualified individuals for the newly created position of Chief Equity Officer. Under the supervision of the Town Manager and the Deputy Town Manager, the Chief Equity Officer will work to develop and operationalize a long-term program of initiatives that will develop a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture and develop priorities that provide opportunities to build diversity and inclusive practices into the Town’s operations. Qualified applicants will possess knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in public or business administration plus five years of paid experience in a municipal managerial or staff position; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. A Master’s degree or law degree is preferred. Anticipated hiring range: $82,365 to $93,095.
