This is currently listed a Limited Duration position; however, the bureau is in the process of converting it to a regular position. Persons appointed to limited term positions will be designated as limited duration employees whose appointment shall not exceed two (2) years except for the extension of grants or funding from outside sources.
The Bureau of Planning and Sustainability (BPS) and the Portland Clean Energy Community Benefits Fund are seeking a Clean Energy Project Manager (Coordinator II) to join the PCEF team that has been working to launch and implement this innovative grant program for projects that create a healthy climate, community and jobs. Being part of a start-up of this nature is a fast-paced, dynamic and fluid endeavor, and the work and functions of the position will evolve and expand in exciting ways over time. This position will help ensure that PCEF clean energy (energy efficiency and renewable energy) grant applicants and recipients have a positive experience and receive the support they need to be successful in their projects and programs in alignment with PCEF guiding principles.
