Job Summary:

Working with our Executive Search Practice team, the Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for supporting our Executive Search Leads and providing exceptional service to our local government and utility clients in their search processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Researching and writing recruitment brochures

· Analyzing survey data

· Internet research

· Conducting outreach to potential applicants

· Reviewing applicant materials

· Conducting phone interviews and reference checks

· Preparing memos and reports

· Providing prompt communication with clients and applicants

· Providing on-site support for meetings which may include interviews and city council meetings

· Overseeing the applicant tracking system

· Ensuring data integrity in all systems


· Experience using MS Office applications of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· High level of enthusiasm

· Attention to detail

· Sense of urgency and ability to be flexible

· Self-starter with intellectual curiosity

· Ability to multitask and easily shift from project to project

· Ability to work within a small team that may be spread across a broad geography

· Ability to work independently on specific assignments once direction is provided

· Willingness for occasional overnight travel for project and job functions


· Bachelor’s degree or higher

· Experience working for local government or utilities

· Experience supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts

· Passionate about making a difference for public sector organizations

· HR and/or recruiter experience
