The City of Florence is searching for 2 new employees to fill roles in administrative support for the City Manager’s Office and the Community Development Department. The positions filled and department assignment will depend upon the qualifications of the individuals and the business needs of the City.
Specifically, the City is looking for either an Office Assistant, which has a pay hiring range of $16.35-18.52/hr. or an Admin Assistant I, which has a pay hiring range of $17.31-19.72/hr. The determination of the position and pay will depend upon the applicant’s qualifications. Both positions have established career tracks within the City that will provide the individuals with long-term purpose within the organization.

The City of Florence is seeking an individual who will be an exceptional addition to our team. Broadly, the position will provide administrative and clerical support to their assigned department and assist the department in providing services and support to our community. This is achieved through a variety of work, including processing and coding documents, performing recordkeeping functions, and acting as a primary contact for the department to both internal and external customers.

This person likes to solve problems and can help our staff tell the story of their work and service to our community through creating reports, social media posts, and presentations for our community.
