The Position: This position will perform a variety of advanced accounting, auditing and budgeting assignments, and supervise the city’s accounting personnel. The position will be responsible for daily cash oversight, monthly bank and investment portfolio reconciliations, interest allocations across all city funds, payment acceptance methods including merchant contacts, assisting with financial transactions of property management, preparing various monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and statements, and evaluating internal control procedures and practices.
This is an exempt, Management-2 position. There is one vacancy. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, working remotely may be an option, but onsite work will be required.
