Under general supervision of the Compensation & Classification Manager, the HRIS/Compensation Analyst provides highly complex technical assistance on implementation, support and maintenance of the HR/Payroll System and serves as a technical point-of contact for the HR department, working closely with other subject matter experts in Information Technology and Payroll to ensure data integrity, testing of system changes, and analyzing data flows for process improvement and system enhancements; designs, & develops  complex reporting from various databases; and provides assistance with a variety of analytical compensation and classification related activities.

The ideal candidate will have a a Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business administration, public administration, or related field and five (5) years of progressive experience in Human Resources; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of operation and capabilities of related software; and system upgrades and testing. Previous experience using a Human Resource Information System, Tyler Munis highly preferred. Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel; including the regular use of v-lookup and creating pivot reports and comprehensive spreadsheets. Experience using Business Intelligence (BI) reporting Tools to design and develop reports and complex queries for data analysis and extraction. Ability to conduct independent research. Ability to write technical Standard Operating Procedures. Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent organizational skills, to include the ability to prioritize projects and meet established or anticipated deadlines. Strong attention to detail. Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills; especially demonstrated ability to work with and communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
