The Finance Department is hiring a Deputy Controller to assist the Controller in planning, directing and reviewing the activities and operations of the Accounting Division including financial reporting, accounts payable, fixed assets and internal controls systems. Ensures compliance with and reporting for Federal regulations on City bond issues and payroll. Performs a variety of administrative and financial analytical work. Work involves review of financial statements, preparation of graphs, charts and reports with analyses and interpretations. Documents, develops and recommends policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting and financial practices in accordance with GAAP and GASB. |
