The City of Camas is looking for a new City Administrator! Under the authority and direction of the Mayor, the City Administrator assumes full management responsibility for all City operations including the development and implementation of the City’s goal, objectives, policies, and priorities. The City Administrator plans, directs, and coordinates, through department heads and other staff, the work plan for the City. Additionally, the City Administrator monitors and evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures, identifies opportunities for improvement, and implements as appropriate.

The City of Camas is home to approximately 23,000 residents and perfectly situated at the gateway to the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area in Clark County, Washington. We employ approximately 200 full-time and 12 part-time employees that are represented by five collective bargaining units with an adopted budget of $122.2 million, a general fund of $25.9 million, and a capital budget of $52 million.
