The Wentzville Parks and Recreation Department is searching for hardworking, dependable and coachable individuals to join our Horticulture and Forestry Team. This position plays a key role in keeping our City looking its best by performing a variety of landscaping, forestry and housekeeping maintenance tasks. A successful applicant should possess strong plant care, organizational, and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and routinely use independent judgment. Preference will be given to those with prior knowledge of how to safely and efficiently operate motorized equipment, such as mowers, tractors, skid loaders, etc. as well as those with prior knowledge of landscaping installations and bed maintenance including related growing methods, materials and equipment.
