Working with our Executive Search Practice team, the Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our local government and utility clients in their executive search process.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Researching and writing recruitment brochures
  • Analyzing survey data
  • Internet research
  • Conducting outreach to potential applicants
  • Reviewing applicant materials
  • Conducting phone interviews and reference checks
  • Preparing memos and reports
  • Providing prompt communication with clients and applicants
  • Provide on-site support for meetings which may include interviews and city council meetings
  • Overseeing the applicant tracking system

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience using MS Office applications of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • High level of enthusiasm, responsiveness, and attention to detail
  • Sense of urgency and ability to be flexible
  • Self-starter with intellectual curiosity
  • Ability to work within a small team that may be spread across a broad geography
  • Ability to work independently on specific assignments once direction is provided
  • Willingness to travel overnight for project and job functions, if necessary

Preferences:

  • Master’s degree
  • Experience working for and has a passion for local government or utilities
