The City of West Linn is currently seeking to hire their next innovative Information Technology (IT) Manager. The IT Manager leads and manages information technology initiatives through development, implementation and support of infrastructure, security, applications, and client services including service desk, server platforms, storage, networks, network security environment, audio, video services, applications, databases, website design and development, information security, compliance, discovery, disaster recovery, continuity of operations and cloud services. The IT Manager partners heavily with the leadership team to develop and execute information technology strategies across all City departments and represents the City of West Linn in the local government community as an IT thought leader and partner.
The next IT Manager will be skilled in the following areas:
· Overseeing budget development, management, and processes.
· Providing exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
· Operating and evaluating complex computer and infrastructure systems.
· Interpreting City needs for technology and translating them into cost-effective procurement.
· Creates a positive and supportive work environment and establishes a culture of teamwork and communication.
In the position of IT Manager, after-hours work may be required as needed and will include on-call rotation to support a 24-hour, 7 day a week operation.
Salary: The starting salary will be based on an analysis of the successful candidate's related education, experience and knowledge in accordance with the Oregon Equal Pay Act, and typically beginning near the mid-range.
