The System Administrator provides technical leadership, project management and administration of departmental and citywide information systems, including facilitating departments’ short and long term technology plans. Implements and/or configures multi-tier, server-based hardware, application and software systems and to be fully trained in all procedures related to the assigned areas of responsibility. Provides all-tier technical support, troubleshooting problems to resolution; prepares and maintains up to date documentation and coordinates or conducts user training.
