Job Description
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This is a position with a great amount of responsibility and requires considerable technical, professional skills and independent judgement to assist the Community Development Director or Planning Manager. Duties primarily involve land use, zoning and related development issues, taking a lead role in special projects, and serving as a liaison to elected and appointed bodies; conducts a variety of studies to analyze development trends and issues, researches and makes recommendations regarding development code amendments; advises management regarding development policies and actions; provides support to Community Development Department staff and various boards and committees of the city, primarily the Planning and Zoning Commission and the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
