REPORTS TO:  Public Utilities Director

FLSA STATUS:  Exempt - Administrative
CLASSIFICATION: Personnel System: Requires satisfactory completion of a six month probationary period.      
PAY GRADE:  119
SAFETY SENSITIVE: No

Purpose of Job 
The purpose of this job is to coordinate budgeting, planning, research, and analytical activities relevant to the Public Utilities Department.  Duties and responsibilities included, but are not limited to, conducts various types of analytical reviews for the department and ensures that all authorizations awards are expended according to design and specifications.  Plans and coordinates the financial and administrative functions of the department and the Water and Sewer Enterprise Fund. Prepares and manages the operating and capital budget, preparing departmental goals and objectives, reports, and performance metrics.  Performs other duties as assigned.
 
Job Related Requirements 

WORK SCHEDULE:  
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.  Occasional work outside of normal business hours.
 
May be required to work on religious holidays.
 
Regular and predictable attendance is required.
 
Must work cooperatively with others.
 
When requirements include vehicle operation, responsible for the safety, readiness and operation of the vehicle and must abide by ACC's safe driving policy. 

MINIMUM TRAINING & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Public/Business Administration or related discipline with three years of management analysis, or related experience required; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.
 
Must possess a valid driver's license. 
 
One year of supervisory experience required.
