C44: $34.25- $47.95/ hour, ($71,233- $99,726 annual)
C45: $37.44- $52.42/ hour, ($77,881- $109,033 annual)
Pay dependent on qualifications and in accordance with Oregon's Pay Equity Act.

**Position includes generous medical package to include $1,200 health reimbursement account, sick leave, vacation, holidays, gym membership, and participation in Oregon Public Employee’s Retirement (PERS).
Relocation reimbursement for actual costs up to $5,000 may be available if incumbent is relocating greater than 100 miles.
Overview of Position:
The City of Springfield is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to manage operational aspects of the stormwater program and Water Resources work group with the Environmental Services Division.
Pursuant to the area of functional specific responsibility (Stormwater/Water Resources), this position is responsible for oversight and implementation of the City’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Stormwater Permit and the City’s Total Maximum Daily Load Plan (TMDL). The position develops, implements, and evaluates short and long-term programmatic efforts for the Environmental Services Division, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements including report submittals, updating program documents, submittal of monitoring data, etc. This position supervises assigned professional, technical, and paraprofessional staff. Training & Experience:
The City will consider any equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, education, and experience to meet minimum qualifications. Such a way to meet minimum qualifications could include:
• Environmental Services Supervisor I (C44): Associates Degree or two-year technical certificate in physics, chemistry, biology, environmental studies, environmental engineering, or related field, and 3-5 years of experience related to the oversight of daily activities and operations associated with water quality permitting and program administration.
• Environmental Services Supervisor II (C45): Bachelor’s Degree in related field, and 3-5 years of experience developing, implementing, and evaluating strategic program objectives; making programmatic changes based on changing regulatory requirements; communicating on policy and programmatic matters to elected officials or other policy boards, and working directly with DEQ and/or other regulatory agencies.
• Minimum of 1-2 years supervisory experience is required for both Environmental Services Supervisor I and II.
License & Certifications:
• Oregon Driver’s license by time of appointment
