The Accounting Manager is a key player on the City of Sequim Finance team. Ideal candidates will possess strong team mindset, practice lifelong learning, and contribute to innovation and process improvement.
Primary responsibilities for this role include general ledger maintenance, a variety of reconciliations, monthly/quarterly/annual close procedures and related financial reporting, grant accounting, interfund activities, tax reporting, accounting and budgeting system support, debt and cash management and audit support. This position also includes day-to-day front office support responsibilities (customer service, utility billing, cash receipts, accounts payables).
