We're seeking a dynamic Tree Planting Technology and Procurement Coordinator (Coordinator III - CPPW) to lead a team of three in revolutionizing our tree planting business systems. From enhancing registration processes to managing contract procurement efforts, this role creates systems and structure to support expanding planting programs.
We're looking for an innovative Coordinator III to manage technology, contract procurement, and other special projects. This new position will build and manage a team of three employees. Together, they will analyze operational and customer needs for tree planting, and develop a registration process for residents to receive tree planting and care services. This includes scoping, procuring, and developing a registration website and tree asset management software. The Coordinator III also guides all procurement and contracting efforts for tree planting. They liaise with Portland Parks & Recreation finance staff and the Office of Management and Finance to guide the team on procurement processes, from planning and solicitation to contract award, amendments, and termination.
