The Construction Inspection Manager supervises the activities of the Inspection Services Section within the Construction and Facilities Development Division of the Capital Projects Department, which performs construction surveys, technical field- data collection, plan and specification review for constructability and inspects utility, Capital Improvement, subdivision, encroachment permits and other development projects.
The Construction Inspection Manager is an “at-will” position that is appointed by and sits at the pleasure of the City Manager.
Receives general direction from the Construction and Facilities Development Manager. Exercises direct supervision over assigned staff.
This is a single, management level position. The incumbent reports to Construction and Facilities Development Manager and has responsibility for providing daily supervision to assigned staff.
