BRIEF DESCRIPTION : This position involves a combination of duties that include a full range of complex and specialized secretarial and coordination functions for the City Secretary. Some of the major objectives are to develop a familiarity with the City of Cleburne Charter, Code of Ordinances, the Texas Election Code, and other state government laws. Work assignments are performed in accordance with established laws, rules, regulations and procedures, but the employee must be able to work with considerable independence in determining work methods and carrying out work assignments. Assists the City Secretary with many department operations and assists in training all new employees as directed.
